Cookies are absolutely delicious. Cheese and black pepper cookie not the usual combo such a winner in taste and texture.

On a chilly February day, I opened the door to Café de Zara and was welcomed by the warm smell of baked goods and the sound of Edith Piaf's voice floating overhead. It's a cozy cafe with five small tables and five seats at a natural wooden bar. The atmosphere is lovely, and the staff even more so. My dessert (a delicious cheesecake with fresh strawberries and an almond biscuit) satisfied me instantly. I remained for a while longer, drinking the warm tea, until life demanded me to continue on with the demands of the day. I wish I could have stayed longer.
